Does ReclaimEdge get damaged by a whipper snipper?

No. We have intentionally used the most durable and robust recycled plastic compound to resist such damage.

Does the edging expand and contract?

Polymer products naturally expand and contract with temperature. Just like steel. We have selected our material to limit lateral movement as much as we can. In extreme heat, the extruded edge lengths will expand slightly, so leave a little gap.

Can it be Curved?

Yes. Not only can it be curved horizontally, it can also be gradually curved over undulations.

Where can I use ReclaimEdge?

ReclaimEdge is suitable for coastal environments, sporting areas, parklands and large-scale projects. It is also great for wide variety of other projects including schools and playgrounds.

What is ReclaimEdge made from?

We have chosen the best possible recycled HDPE for our product. The material sourced by our supplier was originally designed for heavy-duty outdoor infrastructure use and made to endure Australian conditions.

Why use recycled HDPE not virgin plastic?

We believe there's already too much plastic on earth. We prefer to close the loop on plastic from a 'take-make-waste' attitude, to a circular economy.

Is it Australian made?

Yes, all components are made here in Australia, from Australian sourced recycled plastic.

Is ReclaimEdge recyclable?

Absolutely. All components are 100% recyclable. Check with your local Council or commercial plastic recyclers to find out where you can drop off your waste for recycling.

Is black the only colour?

Yes. We believe garden edging should visually disappear and let the gardens take center stage. It also has the best UV stabilising qualities.

How long does it last?

ReclaimEdge, specifically uses black, UV stabilised recycled plastic for longevity, meaning that it can last in garden environments longer than timber and thin steel edging, especially in coastal environments.

Are there different sizes?

Not yet, but let us know and we'll look into it.
